Title

The World of Dreams

Description

The World of Dreams shows a collection of figures in a garden painted in an impressionist style. The flowers are indistinct, mostly shown as spots of color. At the center of the painting is a small group of pink, yellow, and white flowers that are slightly larger and more visible than the others. Two small butterflies and a third larger one fly above the flowers. A male figure wearing a headdress is seated in the lower left. He is facing a female figure wearing a different headdress and playing a musical instrument. To her right is a duck. Deer graze in the distance. In the center of the picture is a vase in the shape of a bird.
