Life--A Paradise of Loose Ends
Title
Life--A Paradise of Loose Ends
Subject
Fetherston explained, this painting saying, "One alone of the orchids is nothing, but all together is the painting's Paradise. Just as in your Paradise". There are at least six different types of orchids in this painting. Two varieties are white-petaled; one is orange, another with pink petals has a very thin vine-like stem that roams over the surface of the canvas, and finally another has blue and orange- spotted yellow petals. The background reveals sections of light shades of blue, pink, and green.
