Title

No Time at All
At Pebble Beach/ (Autumn--Long Island Sound)

Description

This is a painting of a vast oceanscape with dancing figures and birds. Three birds fly from left to right, gradually rising higher and becoming larger. Three of the eight small dancing figures along the bottom, wear red tutus. A small group of dancers on the left look like they could be holding onto a ballet bar, while the rest are dancing among impressionistic rocks and flowers. A bright red sun shines in the sky. Two small birds fly over the cliffs. The water is painted in blue and yellow with the paint more heavily applied in some areas than others. The artist explains: "Galaxies moving at the speed of light. What occurs on Earth will not be known in a distant galaxy for a million light years. What occurs in a distant galaxy will not be known on Earth for a million light years”.
