Description
Sang de Boeuf. depicts a deep maroon colored vase with a wide round base, a bulging body, and a medium neck with a flaring rim. It is placed slightly to the left of the center of the canvas. In it are two orchids with white petals that have red tips. There is also a branch of white flowers on one side and long green leaves on the other. It stretches across the canvas from the vase to almost reaching the top right corner. The background is a light green-blue and pinkish beige wash with visible horizontal brushstrokes that span the width of the composition
