The Han Vase
Title
The Han Vase
Description
The Han Vase is one of the largest paintings Fetherston created. At the center is an oval-shaped, thick-necked, black vase overflowing with a diverse assortment of flowers. At the mouth of the vase are two pink and purple orchids, which give way to four twisting stems of orange, pink, purple, and white flowers. The vase floats in a surreal manner against a grey background with touches of green, painted with wide, short brushstrokes.
