Phoenix (Burner, Incense)
Description
Incense burner in the shape of a standing bird. The side wings and tail feathers are decorated with cloisonne in blue, purple, red, green, and yellow. The front of the bird and the legs are not decorated. The statue is functional as the wings and back come off to provide space for an incense to burn. Some damage due to rain after being placed in the garden for a number of years.
